LESNAR TO QUIT AFTER MANIA
Brock Lesnar is gone. The youngest WWE champion ever is quitting the company that made him a monster star after his match at WrestleMania XX against Goldberg. According to several sources Lesnar informed the management about his decision during Smackdown! on Tuesday. Lesnar has been reportedly unhappy with all the traveling and even got his own personal plane but that wasn't enough. He's interested in joining the NFL. Lesnar said his goodbye's on Tuesday during a speech he made at the tapings.

The big news is that Brock Lesnar gave WWE his notice last night at the TV tapings in Atlantic City, New Jersey. To say this throws WWE planning out the window is a huge understatement. Lesnar said he enjoys performing but not the travel and other aspects of the business. Lesnar has been planning to take some time off after the Smackdown tour of Europe that would end on 3/21 and had told friends he was tired of the travel and would quit WWE if he could find a job that paid as much as WWE did. It's no secret Lesnar was unhappy about being lowered on the card after losing the WWE Title and his next feud (scheduled to be with Undertaker after 'Mania) did not get Lesnar's spirits up at all. We will have more on this in the days leading up to 'Mania and it is safe to say that no main event has had this much backstage controversy going into it since Michaels and Bret from the 1997 "Survivor Series". You have two guys who are planning for this Sunday to be there last match with the company, this is going to be a very bizarre next few days.
